About the Author

Born on 26 November 1950 in Bhopal, Rajkumar Keswani is identified as a poet-writer-journalist. At a tender age, there was a trend towards Urdu poetry. From the role of co-editor in the magazine Sports Times in 1968 to The New York Times, The Illustrated Weekly of India, Sunday, The Sunday Observer, India Today, Outlook, Economic and Political Weekly, Indian Express, Jansatta, Dinman, News Times, Tribune , Was associated with prestigious publications such as The Week, The Asian Age, The Independent in various forms. From 1998 to 2003, NDTV’s Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh Bureau Chief and from 2003 Dainik Bhaskar served as Editor of Indore edition from 2010 to 2010 as Editor (Magazine) in Bhaskar Group. In 1984, two and a half years before the world’s worst Bhopal gas tragedy, newspapers received numerous national and international awards for constant warning through newspapers and then for the long struggle for the gas victims. BD of Indian Express Group for best journalism Goenka Award (1985), Prem Bhatia Award (2010) for reporting on environmental issues. In the documentary Bhopal – A Prayer for Justice, in addition to a documentary by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) underlining the remarkable contribution to journalism, Rajkumar Keswani was also made in the role of a crusader in the Hollywood film Bhopal – A Prayer for Rain. Author of the first chapter of Breaking the Big Story published by Penguin. Collaboration in the book The News, written by 10 selected journalists from Asia, published in 2008 from Korea. In 2006, the poetry collection Baqi Bacho Jo, in 2007 published the seventh door and in 2008 a translation of the Persian poems of Sufi saint Maulana Rumi, Jahan-e-Rumi. In 2008, Bombay Talkie, a book focusing on music and cinema, and the best seller of 2020, Dastan-e-Mughal-e-Azam, were also published. Dainik Bhaskar is the editor of the column Aap Ki Baat for the last 14 years and the editor of the magazine Pahl along with noted storyteller Gyanranjan.
